We’ve just received some details of some new Alessi watches that have become available. Alessi has named these watches Neko. There are five colours available and the RRP is reportedly £55 (TBC). We’ve not seen them in real life yet so we’re not sure what they look like in profile but what we can say is that they look really cutesy with almost ear-like detail on the case. Combined with the colourful plastic straps they definitely very youth orientated.

We like these Neko watches. We’re currently presuming they’re mainly designed for women and have ordered in quite a few. Hopefully we’ll get a delivery soon from Italy with these Alessi watches on board so that we can see them in person. Keep an eye on this blog where we’ll let you know when the Neko becomes available on the ZG Watches website.

Alessi is best known for their kitchenware products. Their designs tend to be fun and unusual with an emphasis on colour and, dare we say it, Japanese pop-art styles. Alessi watches tend to follow the same concept. Most are colourful and fun although given the very nature of watches the designs do tend to be more conservative then Alessi’s other, sometimes whacky, designs.
