Watch Descriptions and Images
Watch descriptions and images are not, within reason, guaranteed to reflect the actual watch dispatched. We reserve the right to change descriptions and prices without any prior notice.
Descriptions and images are based on manufacturer’s specifications. ZeitGeist Watches Ltd do not accept responsibility for any misleading descriptions based on manufacturer’s specifications, although in most cases we will aim to reach an amicable resolution.
Stock availability online is not guaranteed. All products are subject to availability. If the website has misinformed you in any way concerning the availability and estimated delivery date we will endeavour to inform you of any delays as soon as possible. We would recommend that if your order is urgent you contact us by phone or email.
Prices are listed in British Sterling, ZeitGeist Watches Ltd reserves the right to change these prices without prior notice. The currency converter offered by ZeitGeist Watches Ltd is merely an estimate and exchange rate may not be accurate, ZeitGeist Watches Ltd will not be held accountable for fluctuations in exchange rates resulting in losses, perceived or actual. All prices include VAT except where stated.
Standard delivery costs will be stated before you complete and submit your order. Non-EU customers will be advised of any additional Import Duties/Taxes imposed by their respective countries after placing their order.
Strap sizes and fittings are not the responsibility of ZeitGeist Watches Ltd.
ZeitGeist Watches Ltd takes no responsibility for battery life beyond 28 days of receipt.
Website Usage
ZeitGeist Watches Ltd does not make any guarantee that the website is free from infection by viruses, contamination, or anything else which may have destructive properties and therefore accepts no liability. ZeitGeist Watches Ltd is not responsible for any linked third party websites featured on www.zgwatches.co.uk.
We are not responsible if we are unable to provide our Internet services for anything beyond our control.
Order Fulfilment
Customers are required to print a copy of their Invoice upon completion of an online order request.
Orders will be completed when goods ordered have been dispatched, unless you have notified us that you wish to cancel your order in accordance with our instructions found in the Cancellations, Returns and Refunds section below, or that we do not accept your order.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following;
• The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
• Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
• The identification of a pricing or product description error
• Your failure to meet eligibility to order criteria set out in the main Terms and Conditions
• Orders outstanding after 30 days
We reserve the right to refuse to supply any person for any reason.
Orders are not guaranteed for next day delivery, although we will endeavour to advise of any delays as soon as possible. Items that are not in stock at the time of ordering will either be shown on the web site, or that information will be advised after this. When orders have been processed and dispatched the customer will be notified by email. Orders not completed within 30 days of being made will be cancelled and refunded in full. ZeitGeist Watches Ltd accepts no liability for any loss caused to you by late delivery.
Orders to be delivered require a signature, so please arrange either an address where someone will be available between 9am and 1pm to do this, or a day in which it would be more convenient to deliver by ringing our sales team.
All orders are deemed separate. We reserve the right to part orders and send watches out individually.
All goods supplied are for personal use only and are not to be sold or offered for re-sale.
Special Orders
Customers who have watches and/or straps that have been especially ordered at their request waive the right to cancel their order, unless the watch is unavailable from all known suppliers.
General Ordering and Online Retail Rights
Payment will be made upfront in order to allow us to carry out security checks in reasonable time before dispatch. Customers retain the right to cancel their orders prior to dispatch and demand a full refund. Refunds in this case are generally carried out within a 48 hour period.
The invoice address is the card holders’ address and should be filled in accurately, matching exactly the details that your card issuer will have. By placing an order with us, you the customer, are confirming that you are the holder of that particular card used. The daytime phone number supplied must be your home phone number. By supplying us such details the customer allows ZeitGeist Watches Ltd to carry through the necessary address verifications required to authorise payments, in accordance with privacy laws.
Customers must be aged 18 or over.
The general laws agreed in an order transaction with us are based on the laws of the United Kingdom of Britain and Northern Ireland. International customers will be subject to these rules, in most cases we will listen to local laws in order to reach a compromise.
Vouchers, promotional discounts and further offers are subject to their individual restrictions. The customer is obliged to have read and understood these when ticking the above agreement box.
Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Customers wishing to cancel their orders must request this in writing prior to dispatch, emails being acceptable. Failure to cancel orders in this way may not guarantee cancellation, and thus a full refund.
Upon receipt of goods customers have up to 14 days peace of mind guaranteed; unsuitable orders must be posted back to us within this 14 day period. Retuned packages without proper returns documentation may not be dealt in an efficient a manner as normal.
Unsuitable goods must be returned to us unused and in original condition with original packaging at the customer’s expense.
Orders sent back to us due to an error by ZeitGeist Watches Ltd, or are defective, will be dealt with in accordance with our and the individual watch's warranty details.
ZeitGeist Watches Ltd accept no responsibility for goods being returned to us until they have actually arrived on our premises, losses in the interim are borne by the customer. Therefore, ZeitGeist Watches Ltd recommends that customers use a recorded service requiring a signature from the recipient.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds for reasons we see fit, including evidence of improper use and customer damage for example and may, where necessary, return the watch to the customer. All returned items are subject to an admin charge prior to refund.
Refunds are carried out in British Sterling, ZeitGeist Watches Ltd will not be held accountable for fluctuations in exchange rates resulting in losses.
ZeitGeist Watch’s Distributor Take-Back Scheme
After placing an order with ZeitGeist Watches Ltd you must return any waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) to us within 30 days of receiving your order. The returned WEEE must be of roughly the same value or less than the order sent to you and must be of similar description. (If we send you a watch you will need to send us a watch back).
Returned WEEE must be accompanied by the ZG Watches WEEE Returns Form, fully filled out and signed.
Returned WEEE must be sent to us using a suitable service. ZeitGeist Watches Ltd will only reimburse you if you have used a service that is uninsured. We recommend that you simply send your WEEE back to us in a padded envelope using the Royal Mail.
Returned WEEE must be just WEEE. If you are sending us a watch back we only want to receive the watch. Please do not include any packaging with which it originally came with.
ZeitGeist Watches Ltd will keep all returned ZG Watches WEEE Returns Form’s on file for a minimum of four years in accordance with WEEE regulations.
ZeitGeist Watches Ltd reserves the right to refuse reimbursement of postage costs incurred when returning WEEE to ZG Watches should the above conditions not be met.
ZeitGeist Watch’s distributor take-back scheme is dated 05/05/08.
Privacy Policy and Security
ZeitGeist Watches Ltd and its Secure Payment Service Providers use the latest technologies to protect your personal and credit card payment information and do not release this information to any outside third parties. The customer is responsible for ensuring that their server is encrypted when placing orders, this will be indicated by the secure padlock shown in such instances. Any alternative methods of transmission of personal details which result in losses will be the responsibility of the customer.
We will never knowingly pass on your personal information to third parties without your permission. Correspondence from ZeitGeist Watches Ltd will take place in the following methods;
• Correspondence concerning your order
• ZeitGeist Watches Ltd promotional material, unless opted out of by the customer
• Security reason concerning your personal details i.e. to prevent fraud
Customers can opt out of receiving promotional emails from us at any time by sending written confirmation of such wishes or by logging into their account and choosing the relevant option
By disclosing information to us in using this website, you consent to the collection, storage and processing of that information by ZeitGeist Watches Ltd as set out in these and terms and conditions within the legislative Data Protection Act.
