Back in 1983 Casio released the first of many G Shock watches. It was truly revolutionary, the toughest watch the world had ever seen. For Casio the brief had been simple, make a batter proof watch in accordance with their "Triple Ten" concept: A minimum of 10 year battery life, 10 bar water resistance, and the ability to withstand the shock of a 10 meter freefall.
Since then G Shock watches have come a long way. Maintaining its position at the cutting edge of new technology Casio have now managed to produce G Shock’s with tough solar power cell systems and atomic radio controlled receivers.
