Nooz From Nooka!

Nooz! See what we did there. It sounds like news but is in fact written differently. Brilliant! Actually we should take no credit for this, it’s part of Nooka’s promo work to get Noo into as many things as possible. Quite clever really and a good play on the slang word for New-Yorkers. Onwards with the news / Nooz…

First up is some new Nooka watches that we are expecting to receive in the next month or so. These are from the now classic Zub range but with new colour variations. Not only are these new watches equipped with colourful rubber straps but they’ve also been given rather fetching and complimentary colourful dials.

As much as we’re looking forward to receiving these we’re really looking forward to some brand new designs that have been produced in collaboration with designer Karim Rashed. These Nooka watches, called Yogurt, are a departure from the standard square watches we’ve come to love, instead they’re round with a very cool hexagonal digital number display. The RRP for these watches will be £110 but as ever you can expect a discount from us here at ZG.

A further recent collaboration sees Nooka team up with sports label Neff to produce an almost Aztec inspired design. We’re not sure we’ll be able to get hold of this model yet, numbers are limited but it is fair to say that we like the colourful and unusual design of this Nooka watch enough to make serious enquiries. What do you think if it?

Final bit of news! Nooka are to sponsor the independent Hip Hop festival Paid Dues this April. To celebrate this Nooka will be teaming up with Guerilla Union to produce a limited edition Nooka watch. There will only be 150 units produced which will be given to 150 lucky attendees of the Paid Dues event. To be in with the chance of winning one visit the Paid Dues website here. What’s more you can enter a competition to design a Nooka watch of your own which will apparently go into full production. Cool!
