Issey Miyake Vakio and Vakio2 Watches from Harri Koshinen
Harri Koshinen is a world famous industrial designer and with his watches you quite clearly see the industrial and urban influence, particularly with the original series. Vakio in Finnish means constant or standard which we suppose has something to do with time.

The Vakio2 range came along later and had a slightly softer feel then the originals with rounded edges and supple colours. Apparently it represents the winter snow of Scandinavia verging on Spring. We’re never to sure how to react to arty stuff like this but we know we like these extremely attractive and unique watches.
