Issey Miyake Chronograph Watches from the Trapezoid Range
A Trapezoid is a type of four sided square where only two of the lines are parallel, in the UK we know of it as the trapezium. This shape inspired designer Naoto Fukasawa to come up with a very cool watch. When flipped on its side the watches profile is a trapezoid.

Having created the shape, Mr Fukasawa decided on a sporty influence with the details and introduced chronograph functions and funky colours more usually seen on fast cars. One final and very cool feature is the way the tachymeter numbers are stretched on the steeply angled bezel, rather like speed limits painted on road surfaces.
