Tokyo Flash watches promote faceless offering

Tokyo Flash has taken an unprecedented step, even by its own standards - that's because its newest watch has no semblance of a face.

The timepiece was premiered on the company's blog this week, and while it is not in production, it has a great idea that will undoubtedly subscribe to the desires of the organisation's fan base: using a laser light on the top side that sends out a beam of colour onto any suitable surface.

"The time display appears like a target: hours in the outer ring, groups of five minutes on the second ring and single minutes on the inner most ring," Tokyo Flash continued. "The blank face and dark stainless steel case create a mysterious look."

Tokyo Flash released another strange timepiece with the E-Clock concept last week, a design that uses e-paper to tell the time in two separate ways in one watch, including a regular digital display.
