3D Unlimited offered to fans by Tokyo Flash watches

3D technology is slowly taking a place in the public's heart, being incorporated into blockbuster films such as Avatar as well as the world of television.

It would be wrong for the technologically-savvy Tokyo Flash watches to avoid this popular trend, and so a concept watch has been added to the company's blog showing exactly how the creative minds at the organisation continue to whir.

The 3D Unlimited watch uses an OEL panel to create an original and impressive-looking three-sided cube to demonstrate the time to its user, putting the hours on top and single minute digits on either front face of the shape.

Tokyo Flash watches continued: "With a lenticular lens above the interface, the illusion of depth is created, resulting in a unique 3D effect.

"The time is displayed simply in digits on the 3D cube beneath the lens - an unusual visual way to show time. No 3D glasses required!"

Last week, the organisation announced its E-Paper Timing concept, garnering support from fans and spurring the company to add to the design.
