Timex wrist watch named one of 2009's best


The Timex 80 wrist watch is one of the best new timepiece designs to be released this year.

At least that is the opinion of Elle magazine, which has claimed that the retro digital style and rubber strap, which comes in a number of different colours, is the perfect way for dedicated followers of fashion to stand out "as well as indulging in a bit of nostalgia".

The publication's Nagar Ghahreman also named wrist watches by Swatch, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Toy Watch and Michael Kors on its list of the best designs.

She claimed that the latter's black metallic strap "perfectly reflects the glamorous, understated ethos of the brand".

Meanwhile, people considering what kind of watch trend to go for this season could do no better than opting for one with a silver metallic stainless steel strap.

This is according to JCK Online, which has asserted that such a style is perfect for people with individuality.
