Gender non-specific watches are 'brilliant' this year

Want to get ahead of everyone else in the fashion stakes? You'll need a unisex watch to stand out in the crowd, according to a new fashion review.

Writing for the Guardian, Priscilla Kwateng said that a "gender mash-up" is something which a lot of fashion is aiming to create, adding that a number of brands in particular are trying to win over new fans by meeting these demands.

"The unisex watch is a slight misnomer, since it usually means men's watches that can be worn by all," she continued. "Keep this arm candy bold and brash, maybe with a sprinkling of retro styling."

As far as fashion statements go, it's possible to go far with a small investment in Timex wrist watches, it was explained, with a green offering from the company for around £50 being particularly prized over the new year.
