Nooka watch is 'great streetwear selection'


Nooka watches are a great investment for women wanting to carry off a stylish yet geeky look this winter, according to a style writer.

Charlene Haze Alcantara of the San Francisco Examiner explained that while watches have been gradually replaced with a raft of other technologies including mobile phones, laptops and other handheld devices, they have progressed to meet the demand with added features.

She continued: "As watches represent themselves as a form of nostalgia, today they tend to serve more as an accessory flare rather than to be flaunted for their main function."

Ms Alcantara said it is a particular favourite of hers and was the first one to make the list of cool offerings, with the Zub 20mm Zen-H Watch offering a Tokyo Flash watch-style display as opposed to a regular watch-based dial.

Nooka recently announced the release of its "newest and most unique" watch with the Zaz, which features four vertical bars used to tell time and appearing on a completely transparent mineral lens.
