Nooka exhibition to run in Tokyo


Fans of Nooka wrist watches who happen to be in Tokyo this week will no doubt want to attend the Nookanooka exhibition.

Taking place between September 30th and October 6th at Jingumae in the city, the event will play host to an exhibit by ten of Japan's top artists in collaboration with Nooka watch designers.

The exhibition coincides with the Japanese launch of the new Nooka strip and fragrance and will feature work by artists Taku Anekawa and Mikiko Minewaki.

Nooka line creator Matthew Waldman is set to attend the exhibition on the opening day, who, writing on his blog, said: "If you're in Tokyo, you should definitely stop by. This will also be good practice for the November launch of the mini Nookanooka collabs we have been coming up with."

This comes after Nooka wrist watches were recently praised by Geeky Gadgets, which labelled the brand's Zem line as "funky".
