Soap star praised for wrist watch

A wrist watch worn by former EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy has been singled out for attention by a British newspaper.

The actress, who played Sonia Fowler in the long-running soap, was pictured in today's Daily Mail on the way to a wedding.

Cassidy was sporting a strapless black bodice top, a pink skirt and heels, and was keeping the accessories down to a minimum.

The newspaper commended her for complementing her "daring" outfit with just "simple" diamond studs in her ears and a "slim gold watch" on her left wrist.

"It seems her hardline training regime for Strictly Come Dancing may have already given her body confidence a massive boost," the Daily Mail added.

Cassidy is gearing up to perform on the show alongside a number of other famous faces, including boxer Joe Calzaghe, actress Lynda Bellingham and Chris Hollins from BBC Breakfast.

She will also find herself up against former EastEnders colleague Ricky Groves.
