Kourtney Kardashian loses wrist watches in burglary

Reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian must be kicking herself for being a lover of high-end wrist watches.

The 30-year-old expectant mum's Calabasas home was burgled over the weekend and the thieves made away with around $108,000 (£65,600) worth of jewellery.

According to reports, among the valuable items stolen were a $30,000 Cartier watch and an equally pricey Rolex.

Los Angeles county sheriff Sergeant Kristy Crine confirmed the burglary to People.com, saying: "That's what was discovered missing in the initial investigation. Sheriff's investigators and our crime lab are responding on the scene."

This comes after police in White Plains, New York recently reported a "smash and grab" burglary at a Main Street jewellery shop.

According to the Lower Hudson Journal, $7,260 worth of designer wrist watches were snatched from the shop window after thieves threw a brick through the glass and took their pick of the some of the most expensive timepieces on show.
