Lohan forgets ladies' watch as she arrives late at airport


Ladies' watches can be an indispensible item for women who are travelling away from home, but one famous face nearly had to do without for a few days.

Lindsay Lohan was pictured in the Daily Mail this week arriving at the main airport in Los Angeles along with her sister.

She was planning to fly to New York as part of this year's Fashion Week, but they ended up missing their flight because they arrived late.

According to the Daily Mail, their poor punctuality was compounded by the fact she had forgotten to put on a wrist watch and do up some buttons on her top.

Lohan and her sister were ultimately unsuccessful in boarding the plane, despite having their documents checked and getting through security.

The star is perhaps best known for her roles in films such as Freaky Friday and Mean Girls, although the 23-year-old is also a popular subject for the tabloid press.
