Kenneth Cole announces expansion to Turkish market

Kenneth Cole wrist watches may be establishing themselves in a brand new market after it was announced that the fashion company would be partnering with the Park Bravo Group in Turkey.

According to the Hurriyet Daily news in the country, the company has monitored Turkey for a long time because of its "young and dynamic" population, and is planning to open its first store for Europe and the Middle East in its capital, Istanbul, during 2010.

Asli Ozcoban, the deputy managing director of Park Bravo Group, said that Kenneth Cole knows his group through the brands they represent, and therefore they had a positive approach towards the organisation.

He added: "The brand has been interested in the Turkish market for a long time due to its young, dynamic population with high-purchasing power. Actually, they intended to enter the market last spring but they delayed this plan for a year due to the [economic] crisis."

Earlier this week, the Jamaica Gleamer praised Kenneth Cole wrist watches for their stylishness for fashion-forward men, while also providing the flat-faced look which many other companies' timepiece styles lack.
