Issey Miyake fragrance is 'an essential' for men

Issey Miyake has proved to be a firm favourite in more than just the market for timepieces, according to a new report.

Jo Walker, the managing director at Perfume Shop, spoke to the Press & Journal about how Issey Miyake wrist watch fans and newcomers to the brand alike will be heading in the direction of the company for men's fragrances, along with other bastions of the aftershave market.

She continued: "These predictions highlight the continued popularity of the classic fragrance brands at Christmas, such as Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier."

With Issey Miyake watch fans catered for, others may want to opt for brands including Joop!, Paco Rabanne or Boss for their loved ones this Christmas.

Women, however, are recommended Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, Jean Paul Gaultier's Classique and Chanel No 5.

Issey Miyake watches have five separate designers from around the world, including Ross Lovegrove, an industrial designer from Cardiff, as well as Harri Koskinen, who has a permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art.
