G-Shock watches created especially for pilots


The G-Shock GW-3000 has been released this month, making it one of the best choices for pilots and other masters of flight, according to Casio.

Its release was announced by the watch manufacturer this month, which also revealed that it is in a partnership with Red Bull and its well-known acrobatic tournament, the Air Race World Championship, giving its new G-Shock watch series the correct audience.

The GW-3000 series has all the extras you would expect from a G-Shock wrist watch, such as great waterproofing and shock resistance alongside the impressive yet technically impossible ability to withstand as much as 15G of centrifugal force.

It also complies with ISO2669, meaning that it is able to withstand all environmental tests for aircraft equipment and steady-state acceleration.

The Casio G-Shock GW-3000 costs around £230 and will be released in Japan in the very near future.

Recently, Casio released an ecologically-friendly Baby-G wrist watch as well as another G-Shock effort, all in the name of celebrating the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.
