G Shock watch recommended by Esquire magazine


A G Shock watch could be the ideal wrist wear for the weekend, according to one leading style magazine.

Esquire said men should be looking for a durable, rugged wrist watch which will go well with casual clothing for weekend use.

It recommended not spending a huge amount of money on a watch for the weekend and instead choosing a tough watch made from plastic, steel or aluminium.

Shock resistance is another key quality in the choice of wrist watch, the magazine suggested, as the wearer should be planning to "live a little" at the weekend.

Among its picks for the ideal weekend wrist watch, which is both rugged and stylish, is the G Shock Rescue Watch.

Ariel Adams of the Examiner recently hailed the durability of G Shock watches, describing them as ideal for outdoor wear in freezing temperatures.
