G-Shock is 'understandably a celeb's favourite'

Certain brands are synonymous with certain celebrities, and yet one in particular is fast becoming the preserve of the hip-hop and rap community, according to a new report.

Rap-Up Magazine, which details the trends and news with the stars of the popular genre of music, noted that the upcoming 2010 Metallic Series of G-Shock wrist watches are particularly pleasing to the eye and uphold the image which has captured the hearts of many leading rappers.

It explained: "With so much form and function, it's no wonder G-Shock fans include Kanye West, Kid Cudi, and Wale."

The watches are available in blue, purple, and green and all have metallic reflections, with the magazine adding that "this bold take on the DW6900 series" also has a coloured reverse LCD as well as the staples of shock resistance, water resistance, multi-function alarm, countdown timer and stopwatch.
