Frogman watch 'reinvents' famous G-Shock watch

The G-Shock Frogman wrist watch is back, Casio has proudly declared.

According to the firm, the reinvention of the G-Shock Frogman is a "highly sought-after collectible" within the G-Shock watch range and the new timepiece - the GWF1000-1, which is limited edition - has advanced technology fused with classic features which make it an essential accessory to dive with.

Alongside shock resistance, non-stop tough solar power and self-adjusting Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping technology, the offering also includes a tide graph and moon graph to allow for the tracking of sea conditions for divers.

Shigenori Itoh, the vice-president of Casio's Timepiece Division, proudly announced the watch and added: "The Frogman has long been a classic look for G-Shock. Adding advanced technology makes GWF1000-1-Frogman a highly sought after timepiece."

It follows the introduction of three more watches by G-Shock this month, including the analogue MT-G, the extra-resistant G-Rescue and the stylish multi-chronographic Giez.
