Casio watch range extended again with G-Shock Giez

The high-end of Casio's G-Shock watches has been shaken up by the latest offering from the firm in the form of the Giez GS1300B-1A, which combines technology with toughness.

The kind of wrist watch that can be worn with anything from a finely tailored suit to pair of designer jeans, the Giez is one of the jewels in the Casio watches crown and provides an advanced piece of kit for "any sophisticated gentleman", according to the company.

Casio's new offering also rocks a sleek and stainless steel case with black ion plating and a dual-layer dial to give the impression of a "subtle" 3D appearance.

It also has features including Tough Movement, solar power and atomic timekeeping.

Shigenori Itoh, the vice-president of Casio's Timepiece Division, again threw his support behind the wrist watch and proudly announced the core values of it.

He continued: "The new G-Shock Giez personifies style and advanced timepiece technology for the active yet refined gentleman. We are thrilled to offer such a handsome timepiece that easily transitions from business to casual wear."

It follows this month's release of the Casio G-Shock GW7900B, which provides very similar features but is designed for the more rugged traveller, absorbing any shocks through four large screws on the corners of the wrist watch face. ADNFCR-2637-ID-19475633-ADNFCR
