"Super colourful" G-Shock watch stuns onlookers

A new G-Shock watch is certainly accentuating the shock factor, with a multi-coloured offering showing just how wild the company can be in its approach to designing timepieces.

Akihabara News reported on the firm, which it noted as a particularly cool brand after Casio released a batch of figurines last year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the G-Shock watch brand.

Still, the best way to congratulate the brand's continued success is to create more timepieces, and the new Casio MAN BOX G-Shock watch - codenamed the GA-110F-2JR - uses a wide range of colours, essentially painting each separate component a different hue.

A so-called "man toy" also guards the watch when it is bought from the shops, though the news source wishes that G-Shock use all its efforts to create something a little extra special.

Akihabara news went on to state that it would be "cooler ... if it was rather designed as a Casio-G Shock Transformer, [with] the watch transforming into a robot with the push of a button".

Earlier this month, the sister brand of G-Shock - Baby G - was promoted in Rihanna's video for Rude Boy, with the singer embracing the timepiece's retro style. ADNFCR-2637-ID-19652684-ADNFCR
