Eco-friendly Baby G wrist watch released


The combination of fashion, function, trends in the market and consciences of the world have all worked together in the mind of Casio, resulting in the company producing a very special Baby-G wrist watch.

That's because the company has announced that it will be releasing the new Baby-G Casio timepiece, which has been created especially for the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.

Central to the design is Tough Solar Technology, increasing battery life, while also including a recharging capability which eliminates the need for any battery changes and, in effect, helping to further remove hazardous properties from landfill sites.

Shigenori Itoh, vice president of Casio's timepiece division, said: "We're very excited to welcome this new eco-friendly timepiece to the Baby-G line.

"Casio is a company dedicated to supporting eco-friendly initiatives and we are very proud to introduce this solar-powered watch in conjunction with the celebration of Earth Day."

Pixie Lott is one of several brand ambassadors for Baby-G watches, the female arm of Casio's popular G-Shock line of wrist watches.
