Pastry teams up with Baby G watches

The popular fashion brand pioneered by Angela and Vanessa Simmons - none other than the daughters of Joseph Simmons, otherwise known as the legendary Reverend Run of Run-DMC fame - is teaming up with Baby G watches.

Pastry will be offering a hot pink version of the classic Baby-G watch, harnessing the famous luminous colour style and adding the company's "Sweet, Chic and Unique" tagline.

The firm specialises in Pastry Kicks, a line of trainers which the girls introduced in 2007 and ones that also use the same bright colours as the Baby G watch brand has become known for.

Vice-president of Casio's Timepiece Division Shigenori Itoh said he was delighted to collaborate with a brand known for its "trend-setting fashion".

He continued: "With the release of the Baby-G Pastry watch, we are offering a unique combination of cutting-edge style with a playful touch of femininity."

Vanessa and Angela Simmons featured heavily on the entertainment show Run's House, which looked into the day-to-day existence of Reverend Run and his family.
