Baby-G wearing pop star won't let fame change her

A pop star who has endorsed Casio's Baby-G watches has vowed not to let fame go to her head.

Pixie Lott was recently described as a glamorous, exuberant and highly likable person by the wrist watch manufacturer after she was unveiled as the face of its Baby-G range.

And it seems as if she wants to hold true to this description and avoid becoming an argumentative and demanding diva.

"It's not in my nature," Lott told the Daily Record.

"I have too many good friends and family and they won't let that happen to me."

She added that she is delighted to have got to number one with her latest single Boys and Girls, the follow-up to her debut record Mama Do.

Lott described topping the charts as an "amazing feeling", adding that all of her hard work now seems to be paying off.

Casio is currently supporting the 18-year-old singer on her European tour.
