Baby G watch spotted in new Rihanna video

Baby G watches could be getting the boost they have been waiting for in recent months, following the inclusion of the stylish timepiece in a new pop video for one of the world's biggest music stars.

Rihanna is seen with a Baby G watch strapped to her wrist during her visual accompaniment to her new single Rude Boy.

The singer stars in the psychedelic mini-film, which embraces all kinds of colours as she plays the drums, rides a motorbike and sits on a variety of stuffed animals with clothing to match, including a lion and a zebra.

It's arguable that with such bright colours, the Baby G wrist watch seems like the perfect companion, as it is found in a number of vibrant hues including electric pink and blue.

"Years ago, we lived in a time when coolness was measured by whether or not you owned a Baby-G watch, and seeing as the 90s is now back in vogue it looks like we'll be doing it all again - we love it!" said Sugarscape, who also identified the wrist watch in the video.

Pixie Lott currently serves as the ambassador for Baby G.
