01 The One watches rider Pol Espargaro claims third place


01 The One watches-sponsored MotoGP rider Pol Espargaro raced to a podium finish in Malaysia on Sunday.

The 18-year-old Spaniard has enjoyed an impressive season in the 125cc World Championship, including his first race victory at the Indianapolis Grand Prix in July.

Espargaro followed it up with another win in Portugal earlier this month and continued his good form at the Malaysian Grand Prix at the weekend.

The 01 The One watches-endorsed racer came home in third position, behind Julian Simon, who has already clinched the world title, and Bradley Smith.

His performance in Sepang means Espargaro will go into the final race of the 2009 season at Valencia on November 8th in fourth position in the world championship.
