Because of its size Baby G Watches were more difficult to protect against bumps and knocks when compared to the larger G Shock. Casio soon came up with a solution and strapped bars to the front of the watch and redesigned the shell. The results were an instantly recognisable silhouette that’s become a best seller.

Collectively known as Whale watches, these Baby G watches are often given alternative names such as Reef, Dolphin and Jelly watches. Casio have long been a supporter of sea conservation and these names often reflect the endangered species where their donations are destined to help.
